Has anyone looked in the Vbench list recently

There seems to be a lot of new members with no photo or avatar ., and a very high proportion of
supposedly female members also ,seems a bit strange as there has ever only been a few members of the opposite sex until now .

Could these be the spammers

Are they hot?
:D

Seriously, though, it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to exercise other folks. I skip the spam posts. You want to filter them, of course, but it's an ongoing digital arms race, with no end in sight.

Prost!

Looks like they're gone. Probably the same individual given the way they constructed the names.
The most odd one was the address for the second the Inversnaid Hotel. So if you know anyone who went to Scotland on holiday and visited it there's a fair chance that's the spammer

The Inversnaid Hotel used to have a terrific bar. Very well used by all the locals (3), nice place though.
I fogot the 3 locals are really only there in the summer season. It goes down to 2 in winter.

At University we had a weekend at the Inversnaid which at that time was a Training Centre. We were doing an intensive training course around teambuilding / trust / fairness.
It was organised by the Psychology Dept who took everything into account except the fact that we hated each other.
We played a game where we each had varied coloured tokens representing different values, these were traded unseen with the objective of each team ending up with exactly the same value of tokens.
After the ambulance left with the casualties (1 broken nose, 1 broken jaw and some really sore balls) the police then lifted 4 participants. 1 got charged with assault, 1 got done for unpaid fines, the other 2 got off, one of them being an ex cop who'd left the force because of a drink problem.
On returning to the hotel a couple of Baileys were pressed upon him, he didn't turn up for lectures the following week and got sectioned two weeks later.
You'll all be pleased to know that many of us went on to senior posts in educational management. And you thought it was computer games that f**ked up todays teenagers :D (y)
