Hi all

Here are the next pics of my WIP on Romeo's 75 mm Spanish Noble.

Face, armour, jacket and pants are done. All the rest next to be started, additional work and refinement.

The gluing of the painted arms proved to be a little nightmare although no problems occured during the testfitting phase. As a result some minor damages were inflicted on the paintwork and I will have to cure this in the next stages too. Also I was left with some gaps at the body / arms joint area which had to be carefully filled with MS.

Anyway, I hope you like what you see. Any comment is welcome.

Cheers!

Thanks all for the very positive comments!

For those who might be interested: the mustard yellow of the jacket and trousers has been achieved with a base colour of raw umber (oils of course) over a acrylic undercoat of Vallejo's English uniform. Then wet on wet highlighting with yellow ochre, yellow ochre + yellow ochre light and finaly with yellow ochre + yellow ochre light + cadmium yellow medium. Extra shading with glazes of raw umber.

Hi Johan, I agree with Marc. The color of the face looks far more better then on FB.
I'm proud of you Johan.;)
