Spoiler Alert!!!!
It's a little known fact that Napoleon and the Grande Armee were actually driven out of Moskow and pursued through the Russian winter by a company of loveable, misfit Kentucky Riflemen who just had enough of those Frenchies getting all uppity and out of hand.
Once they finished that they went home and spanked the British in Upper Canada and won the War of 1812.

Hollywood... Entertaining AND educational

Psst!
I also heard Leonardo DiCaprio is going to play the leader of the Kentuckians and Jonny Depp is playing Napoleon. For the Waterloo scenes... Wellington will be played by Rowan Atkinson and Marshal Ney is exquisitly portrayed by Lindsey Lohan.

I love Hollywood History

Now,..that is hilarious. As far as the Johnny Depp thing,...do not give them any ideas.

Just watched the first episode of 'The Vikings' on the History Channel. First impressions....pleasantly surprised and not a horned or winged helmet in sight:rolleyes:
That was actually pretty good! It will round out my Sunday night TV vegging... Right between Lost Girl and Walking Dead.
The hero's wife makes the Viking series worthwhile all by her blonde haired, blue eyed self... and her accent was just icing on the cake  I'm a pushover for women with accents :shy:

i think the original one was scrapped when the film Waterloo was released, I'm sure I saw it on some trivi page, however I could be wrong.

Hi Colin,
If it's anything like his other mini series it should be a good one. I wish he or Sir Peter Jackson would do an accurate mini series on the Zulu war.
cheers
Richie

Yes " Indiana Jones and the Napoleon' Scepter"
