Ideally you should be spraying at 28 psi.....if your using Vallejo 'Air' they should not need further thinning!
If you strip the AB down...first check the tip of the needle is not bent....then check how it 'seats' in the nozzle....put a few drops of AB lube in certain areas....such as the trigger/plunger well....down the 'throat' (base of colour cup)....and rub a small amount along the length of the needle itself.
Once you have done this....spray a small amount of AB cleaner through the AB....last thing to check is that the nozzle is screwed in nice and tight....just don't over do it and strip the thread!....easy way to tell if it's not tight enough is to check for air bubbles in the colour cup when you spray
Never mix the colour in the throat of the AB (colour cup)....and before anyone jumps in about that....many do....and if you watch their videos carefully....you will see them frequently trying to 'restart' the AB!
