The vignette 'redux'. The base itself was pretty much re-done. It's been a painfully slow process and I still have a ways to go but, as a golf course superintendent, the summer months are quite busy outside. Thanks to all for their input and advice.

Its coming along nicely John.........I just can't imagine the time it takes to do a scene of this magnitude. How many hours approximately do you have in this now?

Keep up the terrific work.

Looking Great !!!!!!! My friend. I do miss are weekend get togethers talking breathing and eating model ideas . Keep up the fine work. Regards Brock

Guy and Brock. Thanks for the compliments. Actually, I probably have more hours in the research and planning than the actual building and execution of the scene.

Brock, One day soon I'll get back for a week or so and we'll talk 'shop'. Are you going to MASTERCON?

John

Hey John,
that wall looks very nice...! Nice figures too and very well composed base.
Ciao, Luca

It's been awhile since I've had some in progress photos. Here are a couple that I took today. The figures still need to have the trousers and boots painted and weathered and the base needs a final going over with weathering. Comments and suggestions as always welcome.

Hello John

This is coming together very well. I like the idea of this group "queuing" to pass through a narrow part of the dio. Not military textbook tactics, but very common on the ground (as seen in numerous photos of the Stalingrad campaign)

That looks like a sewing machine bobbin in the foreground - has your other half missed it yet??

Nice work

Phil
