Hi guys...just moved this piece to one side from the bench to dry out fully for a couple days before making any adjustments.
It's an impressive looking figure from Gordon Mitchell. You need to take time to line the pieces up to ensure correct fit.....oils over acrylics....Mike

Very nice Mike, my only reservation is the Jacket seems a bit on the scarlet side rather than the "brick red" of the period, did the Grenadier bearskin come with the kit?

Hi guys..many thanks for your supportive comments...all are really appreciated thanks to...viking bob...barrie..chailey...dipper...ometz..brian..gordon..marc..
MCPWilk...ventress...old trousers...ben..and chrisr.... for those who are interested the ground work was a a result of a walk round Hobbycraft...the thinner grasses came from the model railways section....and the taller shrubs/grass started life as a halloween kiddies witche's broom also from Hobbycraft... its amazing what catches your eye
so have a wander around all the sections and have a look...;) keep painting Mike
