This is my interpretation of Captain Berent Dellwig of the Hälsinge regemente during the battle of Lesnaja oktober 1708. It is sculped using magic sculp, I used a Figure from Dml as a base for the figure. The head is from Hornet and fits the agressive and stubborn pose. The figure is painted with Vallejo acrylics, ecxept the gold lace wich was done with Citadel metallic paints.

Best regards Lars

Good work my friend. I saw it last weekend and I must say that that it has been both interesting and very inspiring to follow this figure come to life!

Keep it up mate, I know you got a few more half finished figs on the bench and I love to see those finished too (y)

cheers!

Thanks all.
As you say Johan I have a couple of projects in the pipe, and so many ideas that I not started yet. I Will keep you posted for sure.

The wig idea came to me reading about the importance The wig actually played as a status symbol during this time, although The King Karl XII took it of around 1700 and never put it on again wich was as remarkable as if ,say , president Obama would appear in a wig today. I also like the the idea of this stubborn, brave and wounded officer facing the enemy with his sword in one hand and his wig in the other; - bring it on boys!
