Looks very neat to me.

And I really like your choice of subjects. Do you ever paint them. I cant remember seeing any of your great sculpts painted? Or is it just me or pehaps the Carlsberg? ;)

Cheers

What a lovely figure. I have said it before an I will more then likely say it again, I really like the non military pieces. Again really nice work.
Best

Dear Dr Lutz
great piece (so relaxing to see something like your scene because it is not military nor fantasy nor 'pornography'), I truly admire your skills, escepcially your way of creating folds and drapery, chapeau bas to you, sir!
I recently started using apoxie clay and like it (but it is not as strong as apoxie sculp and my little son tends to drop his toys I make for him :) so I do lots of mending ) . Some months ago Aves came out with a new clay - Fixit sculpt - and in my opinion that stuff is even better than the A clay nd A apoxie because of tis plasticity and durability while it is not sticky and much stronger than apoxie clay - very plasteline like ...
By the way, I truly like your anatomy lessons, human and lately of the horse, at your great site - chen-la.com

Henry, a lot of thanks for link to Hogarth. It was interesting to look on his etches and it was interesting twice -'cause I knew too little about English school of painting. Truly - Joshua Reynolds - the only one I knew.
As to girl's portrait, I imagined to myself her to be a laundress or something like that and tried to escape to make 'cower girl'. Simply face, not too ugly, a bit tired - that was an idea.
Thanks again

Janne, your Carlsberg do nothing wrong to your memory! I'm not a big painter. Of course I improuved much my painting skills in last years and now I sometimes I have a fortune to mix right colour! But I still have some troubles to put the right colour at the right place.

Gabor, Steve, Jeff, I really glad to see you like 'civil' item as well as military!

Dario, you always welcome on chen-la.com and thank you for the information about FixitSculp. I'll try to find opportunity to check it in work.

I love this piece for many reasons. Mainly subject matter and the way you managed to pull it off. Well done
