Started learning ZBrush - Dragon

Hi digi friends,

After playing Sculptris a week or so, I decided to buy ZBrush, and purchased it.
From this week I've started learning it, I thought I need some good instruction so I bought "Introducing ZBrush" book via Amazon and now following sculpting "Dragon Head" tutorial.

Here I will post some pics to share my try and errors on ZBrush to encourage new comers to digital (like me).

Started from tweaking and pushing Sphere...

Yes Jerry you were right. This is really awesome software.
It's really hard for a 3D beginner like me to master, but...just amazing.

Piotr, I had exactly the same feeling.

RKapuaala, I purchased at Pixologic website, it was $795. Pretty expensive for me.

the price is relative, 3ds max cost 3900€ !! 800 usd is a very good deal for this awesome software!
if you have no budget try out blender software - its for free and good so far i can see...

Kaz, that is a very good price for a robust software package like that. I used to use Light Wave 3D and a one year license was more than that.

Let’s hear it for Sculptris, too. It’s free and is a good way to learn 3D sculpting techniques before investing in ZBrush.

Yes, sculptris, accutrans, meshmixer, meshlabs, blender and wings3D are all free and part of my suite of tools because I can't afford Zbrush.

Created Skin from ZSphere, and started adding muscles.
