Great talk this afternoon as well, thaks for your patience and help with all the questions. I'm sure I'll find an excuse to call again soon!

Ok. I see the pictures. And someone had better told me before what pictures I can see now.

A little shock looking straight into the eyes of Nosferatu, I think. Dammed good painting job Rusty.

Excellent

Particularly the veins beneath the skin.

What techniques are you using?
Prime, lay down veins with a brush, thin coats with an airbrush, then brush work from then on.

it looks very realistic.

cheers

Thanks Jamie. I first lay down a dark brick red base coat and build my flesh colors from there. Once I get my basic flesh pretty well established I start viening with my airbrush. Then start building from there again with very light shades and highlights. At the last I go in in with some washes and a little pastel work. There really is no set rule for me it's almost different each time I paint something.

Rusty - Holy S. that lools great! You are getting those large scale busts down to a science. And I like how you use a lot of different mediums. I also never have a set way to paint. It seems to be different every time. I have even used womens makeup. Weird, but give it a try.
