Still not OK

Hi.. I'm vBench ready said Gordy but I still can't upload a picture from my computer to it? any ideas? They don't exceed 200 kb's each so I really don't know what I'm doing wrong..

No one has any idea? I would be able to upload pictures from my computer in vBench I suppose? Is there a limit on the attchement space? I can't seem to find any answers on the forum itself..

it does not list max sizes but a rule of thumb 800 X 600 should work on most forums

Well that's the weird part.. the pic I'm trying to upload is 385x600 and is only 115 kb's.. it's a jpg so??? I'm clueless...

Rather than uploading to the website, you can set up a free account with a photo hosting site such as photobucket.com . You upload your photos to that site and then when you post photos here, you simply insert the photobucket links of your images into your post. This method also gives you more flexibility and possibilities for sharing your images.

Welll guess if this doesn't get solved I will have to but I was trying to avoid it .. it would have been simpler for me just to be able to upload on the forum.. can't find any info on if you can upload what's the space one has either.. it's the most confusing forum I've been to this far or it's just me who's

Hello Sonia
I have had a look at your account and cant find anything wrong. Please follow the instructions below, this will enable you to create a VBench post and upload your images.
Fist you need to post into the correct part of the forum “VBench”



Type in you text then select the paperclip icon above the text window



This will open another window that will allow you to browse to your images



Click on the browse button next to the file path window for each image that you wish to upload, select your images one at a time and click on “open” for each one.



Once you have selected all of your images your images click on the upload button.



Once your images are uploaded they will appear with the file names at the bottom of the attachment window, you can now close this window.



Now go back to the paperclip above the text box, the drop down menu will show the images that you have just uploaded, you can select any one of these and insert it between your text by clicking in the text box below your text then selecting the image you want from the drop down paperclip menu.



When you have finished all your text and inserted all your images you can then click on the “Submit Thread” button.



This is how it will appear



When you go to your VBench link your thread will appear as a link in your menu along with all the photos and text.

Got it!!! what I did wrong was the start.. I didn't go with the paperclip.. tried through my profile and "post to your blog" and then "manage attachments" thanks heaps for getting me out of my misery Tommi.. I saved the screenshots just in case
