Looks like I'm in for a busy time working out the floor plan!(y)

We look forward to seeing you in March!

Hi Steve,
Is there any chance this year that the competition categories be printed here before the show. The reason I'm asking is, as you know, I tend to bring quite a few entries, and it would be nice knowing the categories so I can decide what to bring. Some entries are always hard to decide what they are, ie vignettes and mounted figures. If we knew the categories we could leave the awkward ones at home.
Cheers, John

I will check them at club this week and post them here as soon as they are firmed up(y)

You are also very welcome to bring anything to put in the FW display.... (that applies to to everyone, by the way!)

Thanks Steve. I'll keep my eyes on this post for that. I'm looking forward to attending this year and seeing you all there.
John

Hi Guys - here are the competition categories that we have agreed on, as requested. We have tried to keep this simple!

1. Aircraft up to but not including 1/48 scale

2. Aircraft 1/48 scale and above

3. Single Military Vehicles, any scale.

4. Vignettes up to 3 models on a base

5. Dioramas 4 or more models on a base

6. Sci Fi.

7. Fantasy

8. Single figure, any scale.

9. Bust, any scale.

10. Junior category, any subject.

11. Miscellaneous.

12. Maritime, any scale.

Please note that these categories are for our CLUB COMPETITION ONLY. Cost per entry is £1.00 and any number of models may be entered.

The Figureworld West display is NOT a competition and is open to ANYONE to display their models.

Cheers(y)

Hi Guys - just to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Steve Crisp (Dark Star Miniatures) has had to cancel his planned painting workshop at the show.

We are currently in negotiations to offer an alternative. I will post details as this develops.

On the positive side, we now have confirmation of a display of military vehicles outside the venue and several reenactor groups will also be attending.
