A Fixture
My grey army is growing again. I now have models with bows in 54, 75 and 90mm. Does anyone have recommendations for bow string material in those scales? Also any tips for stringing the bows?
Another option is long, straight human hair too.
Use a small crochet hook to do this or a pin bent into a u shape. I think for the price just buy both sizes.Kevin

This line stretches up to 7 times its length. I used it on my Medievel Hunter in my V bench. If it loosens because of humidity, you can rewind it on one side of the bow.
Cheers

Not sure if the website is still functioning? found the rigging in three grades but for the life of me couldn't see any way of putting it in the shopping basket-the live chat didn't work either![]()
Thanks Paul, I will be placing an order with them soon so I'll add it to the list.

I think that is the same item as above only renamed and is an elastic thread that stretches very well.Airplane modelers who do bi-planes use a rigging product called "EZ Line." That might do for a bow string. An on-line search will give the scoop on how to use. Available at Amazon, I think.
