Completed Critique Swedish musketeer Narva 1700, original 54 mm.

Finished painting this piece. A musketeer, Närke Wärmlands regemente at Narva 1700. (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Narva_(1700)

The base is not entirely finished, it needs more snow, but I ran out of micro baloons so I leave it for now.

Excellent finish Lars. I like your choice of regiment/facing colour. I know there aren't many Swedish figs about but the ones you do see usually have yellow facings.

Lars, let me tell you i stared for quite few minutes at the finish product, very nice work.
I really love the colors and the effect you've painted on his cloth, it really makes it look real cloth to me.
I particularily like how you painted the sword hilt, the metal effect.

You're right Roger, about the swedish uniforms, most were blue and yellow but
Obvious there were some regimens that differed. Närke Wärmlands, Västerbotten and some of the Finish.
I try to highlight and shadow all of the figure even the metals. I'm glad you spotted it Daniel. I think it gives much more depth and actually makes it look much more metallic.
