Finished painting this piece. A musketeer, Närke Wärmlands regemente at Narva 1700. (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Narva_(1700)

The base is not entirely finished, it needs more snow, but I ran out of micro baloons so I leave it for now.

Best regards / Lars

Lars, let me tell you i stared for quite few minutes at the finish product, very nice work.
I really love the colors and the effect you've painted on his cloth, it really makes it look real cloth to me.
I particularily like how you painted the sword hilt, the metal effect.
Best regards and looking forward to see more of your work soon!

Thanks guys.

You're right Roger, about the swedish uniforms, most were blue and yellow but
Obvious there were some regimens that differed. Närke Wärmlands, Västerbotten and some of the Finish.
I try to highlight and shadow all of the figure even the metals. I'm glad you spotted it Daniel. I think it gives much more depth and actually makes it look much more metallic.
Krister, Vincent, Victor, Barry: thanks,
Glad you like it.

It does Lars, and you did a great job at it.
Cheers

I loved this figure when you posted it as a sculpt and now I love it even more with the great paint job.
Great subject that doesn't get nearly enough attention commercially. Hope to see more Great Northern War subjects

Thank you gentleman, I'm glad you like my efforts.
I'm not shure why there are so few figures commerciably available from this period. I guess the market is just not big enough.

Cheers Lars

Thanks Eduardo, glad you like it.

It is of course most fun to do swedish objects, but maybe I do some other nationality next time.

Cheers Lars
