Like most of us I have a lot of bits and pieces laying around gathering dust. Sometimes though, when looking for something, I come across a piece that suggests a use for it by itself. So it was with this 'sword' that I have had for a few years. It's based loosely on 'Conan's' sword, and was for another project I never got around to. It was made by Shapeways, back in the early days of commercial 3D printing, and was only a few $.
I had a piece of wood and some spare groundwork bits and pieces and, purely for fun, this is the result.

I really like little scenes like this. Much more challenging than you might first think with the viewer able to focus on every element.
Beautifully done. Only one small observation (you know me) leaves look a bit too regularly spaced.Just add a few more to create a couple of 3 or 4 leaf clumps.

A very interesting use of the spares box.
Love the groundwork and the addition of the butterfly.

Cheers,
Andrew
