Hi dear, soon for all military FAN, we will release a new bust referred to the Russian tank commander A. Samusenko. In this bust we decide to use traditional sculpture (Mujin) and 3D (Umberto LA Sorda) (tank turret).
I hope you will like it. Box art is from Roberto del Cima.
As usual Women that Change the world....and made something of great....

I think release will be middle of November.

I like the figure a lot.I think the cupola is a bit off, but could be corrected by anyone who is concerned with it. Its a bit too tall IMO.

we use exactly this scale draw, but clearly you need to FIX an handmade bust and a 3D is not exactly the same... ;)

Lieutenant Aleksandra Grigorijewna Samushenkowa (not Samushenko!) was the only woman who commanded a tank in the 1st Guard Panzer Army.

The bust was created after the following photos from 1943, when she was awarded the Order of the "Patriotic War" ...

... after she and her crew shot down three German "Tiger" during the Kursk battle ...:

Unfortunately, Aleksandra Samushenkowa did not survive the war - she died as a captain on March 3, 1945 in the German village of Zülzefitz (70 km from Stettin) during the East Pomeranian offensive as a result of a serious injury.

Samushenko was crushed under the chains of one of her unit's tanks, the driver of which she had not seen while guiding in the dark.

She is buried in Łobez (Poland).

Cheers
