I like it and I do not mind being it a Templar. I am pretty none of us own all the figureswe wanted. So, instead of complaining about the subject matter you can buy a figure that is on your wish list.
 
Strongly inspired in Charlton Heston character in the movie "El Cid" as he appears in the final act.

However, and I think deliberately, it is not an exact match, since for example, only one scar is represented. Nevertheless, our great Spanish fellows of this forum will love this novelty, because Don Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar is one of the biggest heroes of Spain. "El Cid", means "The Lord" in Moorish dialect - Just imagine your foes referring your own name this way to see how respected he was, even by the enemy.

BTW - isn't the cross design quite late for a X, XI century time frame? :)
 
That's possibly one of the best faces I've seen from Young miniatures,another very good release and will be very popular with crusade fanatics , 10/10 for me
