Hello,

after finishing the Roman series from FeR I couldn't wait to paint the amazing double bust from Pegaso, called Teutoberg.
It is an impressive piece of work [with base nearly 30 cm high] with a lot of details to paint. The wild boar and wolf fur were nice to paint [see the references].

Hope you like my efforts.

Ben

Ben.

That is a super piece of work by you and a very realistically painted representation of flesh, furs, armour and leather; it has the lot! All I would change is to have the sword scabbard empty as though the gladius was dropped in action because given the dynamic and 'threat' present in the piece, it makes no sense why the sword would still be sheathed as the Aquilifer was overpowered and the eagle taken as these legionaries were sworn to protect it unto death.

That's entirely a personal choice and as I said, the paint job and presentation is magnificent!

while it'S not my interest in term of figures i must admit that this one is really really calling me :) ....

that is a very nice painting you did on a very complex project !

Wonderful piece and very well executed with the painting. I tried to get this piece from the web site but seems to be sold out for months.

Thanks Gary, thanks too for your "story". Perhaps you're right, but it was my intention to built from the kit...

Thanks Nap, some parts aren't fitting well but overall the casting is great.
