Hola Guys!

The film crew and producer was here today doing "The Real World Anders!". It was definately an experience to have a big old camera and bunch of lighting and light 'bouncers' (the shiney things they reflect light with) and a boom microphone in your face. Now those lights they brought was something different, told them they could leave them here as they would have been the perfect light setup for painting figures! Needless to say they were stingy about it!

They did film me browsing some of the stuff I did here on pF and my pF nametag is hanging over my computer desk so maybe it came in the shot, not sure though. Would be neat with some extra publicity for the site.

I am now totally stoked on going, and my departure for Texas is this Sunday so it is getting really close! I am enjoying every moment in the A/C and every hot shower I take as it will be a while before I can enjoy these modern commodities as well.

Just thoguht Id post a small update on whats going on!

You take it easy out there Anders, hope to have you back in one peice. We all enjoy your work and your conversations :)

Hi Anders,
Good luck and have a great time out there. Bound to be a once in a lifetime experience. Can't wait to hear the stories you'll have for us.
Just an idea here but I'm sure that a few folks back then would do some scuplting to wile away the time. Maybe not with Milliput but lots of clay, mud and other "natural" products available. Of course you'd have to make a whole new set of sculpting tools (no paper clips allowed I bet). Something like that could get you a lot more face time with the cameras  .
Have fun,
Craig
PS: Will there be any saloons and "dance hall girls" there? :)

Hola Guys!

It will be an experience for sure and Im also sure that I'll have some interesting stories to tell afterwards!

As for sculpting, I always wanted to try to carve wood, so this would be a good chance to do so with the lack of anything elese. But then again, if it is anything like my other ranch experiences your too busy to do something or you are just too tired to do it! Maybe a rainy day activity though!

Calvin,

Im sorry but I didnt understand what you ment about shrek?

Maybe when I get back I will know more spanish as it is right on the Mexican border!

Well, since Anders is undoubtedly knee-deep in cow manure and camera equipment right about now, I thought I'd post the following:

Since our beloved Anders is gone to some faraway dude ranch in Texas with absolutely no contact with the "outside world" until September, I thought I'd share the following with you .... I spoke with Anders a couple of days ago and we were talking about how to get pictures of his activities on the "Hollywood dude ranch" to the rest of us. Well lo and behold Anders OK'd me to doctor pictures of himself and common prairie ranch activities using PhotoShop - accompanyed by funny stories - and post them online both here and on other discussion forums (such as TnT, so keep an eye there ;) ). Best of all, he asked me to print them, as well as all replies, and then mail them to him at his "Hollywood dude ranch."

Now, those of you who know me are very likely thinking "aaaaaaaaw crap!" and rightfully so. For the rest of you, get ready to laugh your butts off and very likely be "surprised" by the pictures you're going to see  If you're already thinking of your own perverted stories backed up by skillfully-doctored photos using software (hey Quang, did you hear that?) then go ahead and write them up; just email them to me, pictures included, and I'll print and mail them to Anders. Who knows? Perhaps one of our stories will end up on the program ;)

To be continued ...
