Hi everyone.

I'm new to this forum, and wanted to take a quick moment to thank the organizing committee of SCAHMS for putting on such a great show. This years show was the first time I had attended an event of this kind, and I was a little nervous to say the least. I was made to feel welcomed as soon as I arrived, and had a great time. I left feeling inspired and a little humbled, but in a good way. Thanks again guys, I plan to be back next year.

Wow! He looks better in your picture than he does on my shelf! I'll take your advice on that signature idea, just as soon as I figure out how to do that. Thanks for the photo tip, I've been looking. Thanks for the comments.

I think I speak for SCAHMS when I say: thank YOU for coming to the show! Like many clubs, we were anticipating a low turn out due to folks saving for Boston, but our regional modelers, and a hard core of international guests really came through and saved the day. Glad you had a good time.

Glenn,
It was great meeting you there at the show. Your Huron was very well done. I took lots of pictures of it to use as references for one I'm supposed to paint soon.

Excellent pics guys, of some really excellent work, on SCHAMMS 2005, and well done on a very good show.........and I can "FEEL" your preoccupation that there would be a small turnover from exhibitors and public with Boston looming ever so near!!

We had History in Scale 2005 last weekend of the 19th and 20th March, and its year in year out, that our PREOCCUPATION runs havoc in a country with 450, 000 inhabitants , but thank heavens we managed 1,000 visitors on a two day exhibition, not so bad for a tiny dot of an island lying in the middle of the mediterraneon!

Hi Sam, your second name rings a "local" bell, are you of Maltese descent by any chance?

Regards,

Ray ;)

Ray,

First, I wish to thank you for becoming a MOH member. Second, yes I'm Maltese by origins, however, my family migrated east to Lebanon then to the US. I have a great admiration for Malta, and the Maltese people who were from Phoenicians decent as I'm myself. By the way the Maltese cross is my favorite Crusader symbol. Also, your work is beautiful, and looking forward to meeting you in Boston.

Sam,

Very good to hear that you're a fellow Phoenician descendant ........makes it more interesting to meet in Boston........

It seems that my Microsoft Outlook is not functioning quite well and I haven't recieved the confirmation mail to be able to post on your site :(

Keep up the Good Work mate,

Ray ;)

Hello Ray,
You might not have received the MoH account activation email because of SPAM settings relative to your mail server which may have quarantined the email.

I have enabled your www.metalsofhonour.com account so you should be able to login now, give it a shot and let Sam and/or I know if you are still experiencing difficulties. We'll get you sorted out :)

Take care Ray, looking forward to meeting you in Boston!
