Anyone going? I have heard nothing about this show on the forum. I *hope* to be going, but, due to several LARGE server migrations at work, I may be missing this show again. If anyone is undecided, I STRONGLY advocate going, it's a great show, and a great place to get togewther with old friends, or do some great shopping(both on site and off site.

I think exhibitors pay $15 flat fee. MMSI members pay less. Hopefully someone from the club will chime in if I'm wrong. I didn't see any fee information on the club's site.

It is a $20.00 registration fee for non MMSI members, $10.00 for members. Admission for non-exhibitors is $7.00.

Wendy- it's a new hotel this year(as opposed to the hyatt in oakbrook), but, I would suggeswt you call the hotel. Many hotels do have shuttle services to and from the airports, for a reasonable cost.

It does not appear that the hotel has a shuttle to the airport. If you are traveling alone, a pay shuttle service is probably the best bet. If you can share a cab ride with someone, that might be good. I would ask the hotel about shuttle services. They run about 20 bucks a person. When the hotel does not offer complimentary shuttle service and there is no convenient public transportation option (seems to be the case here) this is my preference. They are generally very reliable. You can often save a few bucks if you pay for your return trip at the same time you pay for the ride from the airport.

Yup, I called the hotel today. No hotel shuttle. (And they weren't too helpful on the phone.) It looks like one of the airport shuttles will be the best option. I found one that was $30 to the hotel and $26 back to the airport, but I'll check around a bit more.
