Roc,
Awesome...very well done. I particularly like the way you did your basework...I have struggled mightly standing water, but you seem to have nailed it; how did you get that effect?
Excellent work!
Hope all is well

Hi Patrick, thanks for the kind words.

This is how I did the stream:

1- Shaped the base of the stream with A+ B putty.

2- Once dry I gave it a coat of dark green + a little black, while still wet I painted
the edges of the stream closest to the land dark brown.
3- gave it two coats of acrylic varnish.

4- highlighted the dark green with lighter shades of green, and dark brown with
lighter shades of brown.
5- Gave it two final coats of acrylic varnish.

I hope this helps, if you should have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers.

Roc. :)

Hey Roc,
I love it.. Great job, really like the detail work on the shield, and especially like your armor. :)

Roc, Very nice. You did a great job on the shield. I like the little addition of the water on the groundwork.~Gary

Superb painting Roc, first class job. The only thing i would do (but who says I'm right?) is shading and highlighting the blade of the sword a bit. This is just nitpicking though because I LOVE the way you've painted this figure. What will be the next?

Keep up this high standard of painting,

Gino.
