So this really happened. There are a series of photos from St. Mere-Eglise in Normandy where 82nd airborne paras commandeered German horses for patrols. I will definitely and be looking forward to painting it. It was very challenging (I like a challenge) as lot of dynamics between horse, rider and detail going on.From an engineering standpoint it was complex as well.
