for me the key is to get the hands proportionally roughed in then I mold them and clean /tighten up the resin castings. Same with the heads. Sharp ex-acto ,scalpel blades. I now have built up an assortment to draw upon /modify . I do the same with helmets, boots and other equipment to speed up the process. I find the resin carves easily
