Hi Guys,

Here is a piece I recently finished.
My client has asked me to post images.
As you can see it depicts aWW1 bomber from the Dandy 9th, Royal Scots, 51st Highland Div.

The Scale is 1:9th.

Thanks for looking!

Hope you like him.

The Manufacturer will post further information when ready!

Carl, I am losing track of the brilliant WW1 busts being produced. Who is selling the Birmingham Pals figure and any clues for this one? Great figure BTW!

Carl - just out of curiosity.....what sort of bombs are those that he is carrying? I know of mills bombs but these look to be handled, almost like German potatoe mashers? I'm obvioulsy not up on my WWI ordnance.

I think they're No 2 Colin.
They were dodgy to use as they were detonated by percussion.

Hi Colin,

Carl is correct, But I used as referenece No1 MKI Precussion Grenades. They was a very unpredictable thing, extremely volotile, but they also used to bounce off the wooden posts in the trenches without exploding, enabling the target to throw them back. Which kind of defeats the object a little...

As I understand it there was also a very similar grenade a called No2 this could have the stick removed and it was used as a rifle grenade, also known as a Mexican Tonite... I have no idea why!

The 8 compartment belt, That the piece is wearing is extremely rare, I don't think there are any examples left, so If anyone has any pics I would love to see them.

I hope this explains it a little.

Here are some images.
