Wanting to Buy The Eduard Schwimmwagen 1/16

Its about 99% the same model. Had some eyes and information about the torro version early this year from the toyfair in Nürnberg.

The Torro one looks like it comes built and prepainted which takes the fun away. I'm hoping Tamiya will do a 1/16 one and a Kettenkrad. I would be all over a detailed Kettenkrad, would make such a great backdrop for figures

thanks to all, in the meantime I found a Schwimmwagen, to a quasie purchase price, thank you Uwe! I must wait for the wheels of Hussar! The AFV figures make a great impression, I'm looking forward to the assembly! should Tamiya bring out a Schwimmwagen, will be swapped again! Thanks to all, Greetings Hauke

Congratulations for the Schwimmwagen, but you'll find it lacks a lot of details and it will take some time and work to make it look as it should. Besides a ton of walkarounds and books about VW166, I recommend that you find Tamiya Model Magazine International, issue 126 from April 2006, as there is a very nice article about Eduard 1/16 Schwimmwagen with SBS pictures of the building, painting and weathering.
