The Last Bash in Leeds

Hi everyone, The WRMMS will be holding our {infamous} Christmas Bash on Saturday 9th December
1000 till 1600
at
Paxton Horticultural Society Hall
Kirkstall Lane
Leeds LS5 2AB

As the title says this is that last time the club will meet or hold an event at this venue before we move to a new location in January 2024.
We look forward to this being the busiest Bash to date with the usual features happening.

The Jacobs Joint Buffet , for those unaware this is like your old school Christmas Party when everyone took something for all to eat
All become a judge for the day, simple everyone has the option to choose their favourite pieces of work on display and the ultimate individual display.

So please those who have never made it to a Leeds Bash this is your last opportunity to do so, and for those who have been before come back again and make it one to remember.

Well this time next week the Bash will heading towards the awards ceremony, by now everyone's votes will have been totalled and eager modeller will waiting to see who has one of the awards at the Last Leeds Bash.

Awards will be given in these Classes

Mounted Foot up to 65mm Foot over 65mm Diorama/Vignette. Fantasy Bust AFV/Ship/Plane Flat Best Display

All entries will be entered as an Open Display rather than by Class

As usual there will be an award for Services to the Hobby, given to an individual who has supported the Hobby through various avenues, and the infamous Auction.

The WRC hope to see many of you there for the Last Leeds Bash, and if you would like to contribute any food to Fuddle( as it is known in Yorkshire)/Jacob's Joint it will be greatly appreciated.

Well yesterday was the end of a long running joyride, the White Rose Club at Paxton Hall. An amazing 28 years I was told . Hopefully we went out with a BANG and not a fizzle, when the Last Leeds Bash took place.
Some modellers were lucky, sorry I mean well deserved winners of the final awards to be given out at the venue and the last from the Club.

Hi Nic,
All well deserved winners, it was one of the hardest displays to choose your favourite in each category as the standard was superb across the board.
