This is my second last figure - a classic subject from
Spanish Andrea Miniatures - "The Name of the Rose". A very nice set with a big piece of furniture included. Painted exlusively with Talens oils.

Best regards,

I am happy you like it - I will definitely paint this set once again for myself in the future because the one on the pictures is going to be a gift. Peter, the wood grain effect is very easy and quick to achieve: I pre-painted the furniture with Humbrol matt white and then covered with Talens Yellow Ochre using brush, waited for about 2-3 hours (oil paint gets little drier) and then applied Talens Brown van Dyke. I was using wide and torn brush when applying brown. It is important to wait before applying it, otherwise you may end up with a mixture of both colours instead of wood texture. Hope you find it useful.

Vergilius, are you positive there are glasses in this set?...I did not have any. I know there are glasses in the similiar Andrea Miniature's product:Gepetto's dream.
