The frame looks ok to me,it's a classic painting,I've often thought about doing the Andrea 90mm of this,I may get round to this one day

You are up early for a Sunday Brian ,Best time for modelling 'peace and quiet" ,Sitting here trying to force myself to mess up the new bench ,needto drill some locating pins
The postal order arrived yesterday ,thats not the reason for the slight delay on the base I decided to re-polish it for a better finish .
Are you still using blue tack for transport or have you moved on to velcro.

Hi Ron,I'm in no rush for the base as I'm still finishing the Spanish bust at present,I was up early mate as my 5yr old got me up with Father's Day card and present,I've brought myself a couple of them metal cases from B&Q so I take my stuff in them now,you have a similar one under your desk in the caveYou are up early for a Sunday Brian ,Best time for modelling 'peace and quiet" ,Sitting here trying to force myself to mess up the new bench ,needto drill some locating pins

You are really cracking on with the Spaniard Im still trying to decide on a colour scheme and how to get round the painting of the left arm , insitue or pre assembly? at least I have made a base for it ,he's going on an Oak flat top plinth ron

I've had to leave the arm off mine Ron as I'd never be able to paint it all assembled,I have no reference material either so I've gone with similar colours to the box art,I've finished the base though,I've done part of a galleons railing with his left arm resting on itOh is this fathers day !! looks like they have all forgot

PS did you skip the powder bottles ,they look a real pain in the as to addand I have already broke a couple of the cords off

You might want to try an insert something like this Brian , by the way thats your base on the small table along with Tony Dawe's stuff
