Yeah, black and yellow will be worn together. That's more about what the garment is made off, oils skins being exactly that, fabric coated in a oily substance (usually tar or linseed oil) to water proof it, so they are naturally black. Yellow garments are more modern, rubber coated which can be in yellow or any other colour. Yellow of course having been the colour of choice, because of it's high visibility in case of a "man overboard" situation.
To be honest, whether it's the (deliberate) sculpt, or the casting, the jacket is a bit rough, with some very crumpled areas, which gives more of an older, oil skin jacket effect, than a more modern rubber coated foul weather jacket. To be honest, I'm very tempted to get another, because doing one with yellow will be a joy to weather
