Hi guys,
I want share with you the last figure of 2011

A pirate from Michael Roberts, I found on the table of El Greco during the last Euromilitaire.

Great sculpting that I try to improve adding a pipe and re-sculpting the hair in the back part.

I try to image an old Sea-dog, with weathering signs in the face and a lot of texture in the cloth.

The sculpting is inspired by a drawn of Howard Pyle, an american illustrator of 19° century.

I was also really inspired from his work in painting the bust.

I hope you like it!:)

Lovely looking skin tones & choices for colouring Massimo. We'd expect nothing less from a master painter. Thank you for sharing with us.

You've done a wonderful job, I love the whole bust! What medium/s did you use? Acrylics and/or oils? Thanks...
