I learned of the passing of Chuck last night. I thought, since I am a member here that I would let y'all know. I know no details other than what many of us know regarding a long battle with an illness.

I really liked him. RIP, My deepest condolences to his wonderful family.

OH WOW.
SO Sad to hear the news. My condolences to his friends and family.
Chuck was a great guy. He helped me get started in the figure business 25 years ago when he connected me with some sculptors for my very first figure. I saw him and shared time with him at every show. He will be missed.

Yes,... a real nice easy going guy...."the first I bought from at a show". It was the YS miniatures "Georgios Drakos" kit that I looked at forever and then haggled back and forth and finally bought. He was a nice guy...Rest in Peace.
Regards,
Wayne

Words are insufficient at times like this. Chuck was my best friend in the hobby for many years. We lost touch when I quit painting.
A huge loss for the hobby.
RIP my friend.

Very sad tonight.
Just learned of this. Not surprised.
I would journey from NJ to Milton 4 to 6 times a year.
I could have ordered online, but genuinely enjoyed visiting Chuck.
He was always happy to see me.
Made it a point to get to MFCA this year, knowing he would be there.
He was not doing well but put on a brave and pleasant face for most ( if not all ).
A gentleman and a genuine person.
I will miss him and I'll miss the visits to PA.
My best wishes to his wife and family.
He leaves a hole in our lives......

Sad news indeed and a great loss. Glad I got to see him one last time at MFCA this year and was a patron for many years, too many to count. He will be missed and condolences to his family. Rest in Peace.

I am very saddened by the passing of Chuck, a friend to me and so many, and a great supporter of this hobby. Like so many manufacturers he gave great support to my business right from the start, and a gentleman to deal with. My sincere condolences to his family.

Farewell Chuck, rest in peace.

Rob

I remember him from the late 70's went used go alone to MFCA at Chester,Pa and buy only what I could afford back then .

My first per chase of a figure was from Red Lancer at the Chester show. Always had great service from mail order, and to me the sign that all was right in the world, was The Chicago Show and going into the vendor area and seeing Chuck Standing tall, handing the pies of "hold these for me" kis from behind the tables. There is a gap in my life now, that will be hard to fill

Rest in peace
