Hey all,

Here is a small shadow box that I have done for my in-laws 50th Annv. I am trying to stay in good with them!! This is the Andrea kit. This is a really nice kit and gives you the option of 2 heads. I did not want to put so much blood but I know that it should have been there but like I said this is for a gift to hang in their home and I did not want it to be so bad.

All of this was painted in acrylics including the metal work. I have had a really nice time doing this and plan to do a few more Biblical figures in the near future.

Thanks for looking,

Joe

Joe,
This is extremely well done. It is a great figure to.
For me, you must not cover the whole body with blood, but some more will do no harm. I think it give's more attraction, and brake down the skintone a little bit.

Well done,

especially because the subject has a real heavy historical and religious impact.
I have to buy this also :)

I love it buddy...........Subtle painting all the way which mellows with the whole scene........However I agree with Marc that JUST A LITTLE more blood will do especially the left side middle ribcage ;)

You're DEFINITELY in your in-laws GOOD BOOKS now

Take Care,

Ray :)

Joe , great stuff. I love it. I do agree with Marc and Ray though. Just be carefull not to overdo it though.

Joe, I think this is powerful. You've captured Christ's last moments before His death and resurrection very well. Inspiring.

Nice job!

Kyle

:) :)

Hey guys,

Thank you all for the kind words. I will have to let you know what they say after I return this weekend. I also hope to start work on a new Biblical orginal figure when I return.

Mike,

Yes, it is really nice when it all comes together.

Thanks also guys on the blood topic. One thing should be noted the reason there is no blood on the ribcage/gash, is this was done after Christ had died and they wanted to make sure, so that is when he was pierced

Jean Paul,

You should get this one, you would do a really Great job with it. :)

Anders,

Thanks, doing any painting these days?

Again, thanks you all for taking the time to look and comment.

Joe
