Not every painting step our colour choice is a success, but always a good practice. Gonna tray to complete the muster as a exercise, afterwards decide to start over a new attempt

My apologies I missed this , quite a complex bust ,like the colour choices , the patterns work well , he has a very pirate look on the flesh as well ...it's all that sea spray

The wheel is a clever touch as well
