This group looks promising mate, like how they all interact together. It's nice to see you working on something again (y)

Cheers

Looking great buddy. Nicely grouped ...... you get drawn into the composition, like you're trying to hear what's being said.
That engagement is the essence of a good group model (y)

Not your typical Zulu War diorama, absolutely brilliant! It will be fantastic to see the diversity of period uniforms in place. Well composed too.

Hi Ken, Gordon, Steve, Del, Matthew, Oda & Dennis,
Thank you all for looking in and your encouragement. I did not have a base, but I did have two separate bases that I have spliced together to give the feel of a donga. I have put some initial milliput down and will need to trim the base bottom. I will add appropriate vegetation, but I want to leave the wooden bark as a feature. Cleaned up one of the figures only. Need my new glasses to turn up!
Will get a few more hours in this weekend, as I'm enjoying this one.
cheers
Richie
Steve R - it was after our chat on the phone that I got some inspiration to get back to the bench, so thanks for that mate(y)

Hi Richie,

This has show-stopper written all over it. What a great looking concept! Rgds Victor

Hi Malc,
I agree will be a nice change other than all scarlet.

Hi Victor,
Welcome aboard and thank you. They make a nice set of figures.

Hi Steve,
I might have a look at doing a 120mm version, whether it's five figures in another thing.

Hi BP,
Thank you and thanks for dropping in.

Hi All,
Today's work.... I have masked up the base ready for working on. I have got four of the figures cleaned and primed, plus the accessories cleaned up. Probably be next weekend now before I'll get time to progress this one.
cheers
Richie

Hi mate,
Thanks, I have used some pre made ground work rather than making it for this project and I'm happy with they way it has blended and turned out. Even the shrubs are a sponge type product.
cheers

Another great looking job on the way, it does look very British me thinks ......

Which in my eyes is a good thing.

Richie

Hi Nap,
Thank you mate, I have really enjoyed this project so far. The ground work is two of Pete's bases spliced together and all the other ground work is railway modeller's stuff. Nothing made, painted or sprayed.
cheers
Richie
