I have been working on this guy for 3 months and I am calling him done. Lou Masses did a beautiful version of this many years ago and I borrowed some of the patterns. Painted with Vallejos. Comments always welcome.

That....IMHO.....is the finest rendition of any Samurai I have ever seen. A masterclass of how to paint such a complex subject.
Much respect for such superb work.

Amazing painting of the patterns ..all the hardwork has paid off ..really effective

Possible a bit more contrast on the flesh also IMO

The base looks a bit thin and prone to snapping ( I am sure it won't!!!!) ....personally I would have put a brass rod with it
