This piece was a lot of fun. It's not movie accurate, but hey, the movie was in black and white anyway.;)

Hi Rusty,

What a masterpiece!!

The sculpting is superb and so finely detailed. You can almost feel the texture of the skin.

The eyes are creepy as hell, but the real standout for me is the translucent skin and the depth of colour you've been able to add.

I remember seeing an example of this type of skin painting by Gino Acevedo, the make up artist who painted the Gollum machette for the Lord of the Rings movies, using a very fine airbrush and a lot of patience. You seem to have mastered this technique, and in the proces raised the bar for all of us, well done.

Rusty, damn my friend, you've taken this one to a whole other level! Those eyes are stunning! What scale is this? Great work!

Wow Rusty, very nice painting, is this 1/1 scale? The eyes are a stand out and look very realistic in an alien type of way. The mottled skin is also top notch.

Top shelf, all the way. A really great sculpt/paint.
Amazing to think that this guy went on to be the marshall in Dodge City.

That is truly amazing, the skin tones and eyes are beautifully done. I take it you use an airbrush for the skin, what media do you use?

Thanks guys, much appreciated! This is part of an article I'm doing for a website. When it's done I'll post the link, thanks again.:)

No Chicago....bailing on us again, huh?

Looks like you've been heavy snacking before bedtime again. My momma always said it would give me nightmares! Mate, I'd hate to see your dreams;)))

Love the work. The effect of the eyes against the translucent skin really draws the viewer in. Great focal point.

Paul
