Yes, I think that this is a real head, too. Also, the guy tends to be a mouth breather, due to his cauliflower nose, is hypertensive as shown by the bulging scalp and neck veins and probably has a significant clinical depression. If anyone has a friend with these problems, you may want to check if he is still around.
Marvelous work!

This is an example of great sculpting and painting, rarely acieved by the same person. I personally would love to see some tutorial from you about both sculpting and painting as i think i could learn a lot.

Truely fantastic work of the highest level.

Oh my goodness that is wonderful.
Both the painting and sculpt are truly magnificent, the skintones are so realistic.
Congratulations

Melanie

The addition of cauliflower ear is genius and adds to the overall appeal of this guy. Of course the skin tones are nothing short of other worldly.

I must have looked at this piece 20 times since it was posted, and I still don't know what to say it's amazing. Every time I see it I think how is that possible, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Congratulations!

As a newcomer to the hobby, about 4 months now. Your pieces are truly an inspiration. Thanks for sharing them.

Andrew.

It may also be a secret he would like to keep to himself. I think there is a slight texture added during the sculpting then the whisker areas are painted in several layers to create a human skin layer, after that each whisker area is highlighted and shadowed to create the dimension that appears as so realistic, and quite possibly some artificial whisker material is used. But of course I have no freaking clue how he did it, if I could do it I wouldn't keep it secret but I would sure try to for as long as I could. I think if there is an artificial product being used for the whiskers then that could be a hobby changer. Just this bust alone from the painting aspect of it has changed my view of what is possible with these little figures. I will try and try to make something look 50% as good as this bust.

Nice work sir and I hope you share your secret but if you don't.... please keep sharing your work because I love looking at it.

I think the response is lost in translation..

Ruslan, when you say 'draw' is that painting or drawing putty for texture?

Yes, I'm sure it is.
Just want to get a bit into his techniques...impatience, I guess.

There are no secrets
Simply paint the oil paints
Sorry for the incorrect translation
In Russian, I am writing without errors:)

C',mon. That must be a real head.

You don't have to tell us what you did to the rest of the body :)

Absolutely brilliant!
