Hi Brian,
Crikey mate, did this not only come out last week:wideyed:. I not only admire your unique settings and brushwork artistry but your industry is second to none. Well you have set the bar now on this one. Lovely work as always.
cheers
Richie
Many thanks Richie for those kind and generous words,it was a great project which I was very pleased with in the end, thanks for taking the time to look.

Ah crap with Ron doing one and this work of genius I'm going to flog mine  Brian it's fantastic you even stole "my" idea of a railing to rub it in :depressed: Class job mate I am really impressed with it

Steve
Many thanks Steve for your comments,as soon as I first saw the bust I had the railing in mind,i hope you still go ahead with yours,it's such a great bust it would be great to see more of them on here :)

Hi Brian
Had a better chance to look at this cracking piece you have created , Splendid stuff Brian ! I often wonder what go's round in your head re modelling as you come up with some super ideas ,the scene is super and there is some lovely touches in the painting ,very typical of your style which i could now pick out at 100 paces

Ron

Ps thanks for the plug  I have put this on the website also.
Many thanks Ron for your very kind comments and continued support for my work,I just love to think of ideas for my figures and busts,as I mentioned once before I used to diorama building and in a way it still allows me to do some of this stuff with the figures and busts I do now,I'm even plotting and researching the Mohawk Indian which I'm doing next,it's very nice to know that I have a recognisable style, this had been mentioned to me before and it's nice to know.
Thanks for adding to your site as well.

Hi Kev,thanks very much for those kind comments,I'm glad you agreed with me about the shirt,it looks boring and dull,I'm glad you liked the base as well,I always wanted to add the ships planking to the base front but I don't have anywhere for a nameplate :-(,I'll have to think on this one :)
