Tirailleur Senegalese c. 1900

I am moving away from 1/35th scale figures and aim to build my figures on Historex body blanks. This fella however is built on Airfix Multipose body parts all stripped of detail, which is then rebuilt with Magicsculpt. A head and rifle from G&G of Italy and a Historex trumpet.

Painted entirely in acrylics and using Vallejo Air Metalics for the trumpet, buttons/buckles and rifle parts.

I have sold my work in the past, only a couple of times and kind of regretted it so it's something I'm not keen on doing. Chuffed though that you thought it worth purchasing..

Hi, the eye is slowly draining, still got a lot of blood in there but starting to see a yellowish haze through it that is the white of my eye. I'm back for another injection in a couple of weeks so hopefully it will clear by then!
