Congratulations on completing the figure. You have done a grand job with both the painting and the complete re-build / sculpt. I have never even had a go at this type of work but you have inspired me! I kit bashed some Historex figures many moons ago but never converted any. You've got me thinking about a French 2nd. Empire Cuirassier figure which I would like to do for an upcoming project having no luck securing one in 54mm scale. I will also try your Magic Sculpt. I look forward to your next project!
Cheers,
Paul

Cheers Paul, I'm chuffed that I could inspire you. A second Empire Cuirassier is on my list too, it will be a long while before I get there though. I hope to see yours soon, good luck with the project, it is good fun.

Cheers Simon

I saw this in the flesh yesterday at the BMSS Annual show and I have to say I was blown away. The photos don't really do justice to your lovely painting!
Great to meet you finally ,Simon
cheers

Good to meet you too Neil, always good to put a face and name together. Thank you for your kind comments on my figure, I'm really chuffed at how this one has been received.

Cheers Simon

Where the hell have I been?! I didn't realize that you finished this, Simon. Beautiful finish! Especially having followed your in-progress thread and seeing the challenges and changes you made here and there.
From the colors to his expression, it's a great piece, well done!

Prost!
Brad
