As many of you know I like unusual figures. So one of my favourite painter is Bill Holm. One of his paintings is called "The inviter" and show a tlingit village chief watches the approach of his invited guests

Because I want to try out Super Sculpey and I like the figure I start to make my own flat. Don´t know if I can finish the figure or if nothing will happens when I must put the flat in the oven, but I have fun and I think you can see what perhaps could be.

But many things to do before

I think you should start putting colour to it asap.It is going to be great.Unusual subject and very nice sculpting.

Nearly ready. I had use a heat gun (thanks Ken for the very good information) but have made a mistake. I leave the room as the figure was cooling down and the flat has bended. But I hope now is everything fine. Some things to clean and then I can mould it. At the moment I had glued the flat on piece of glas, because I feared that the flat has a memory like resin and ....

Ulrich a great finish with the sculpting and the painting is bringing it to life, looks like a challenge to paint and should be very popular.(y)
