It's dawn at Todenyang,
the brits withdrew and the Italian Flag took the place of the Union Jack on the tower.
Liutnant Verny gives instructions to a "capobanda" dubat, while two Gheleba look at them wondering about new fights.

Hi you all, Gents!
Here a wip of the dressing of Liutnant Saverio Verny who led the dubats and the irregular troops Gheleba while the occupation of Fort Wilkinson at Todignac (Todenyang) in north Kenia.
Thanks in advance for any hint or suggestion ;)

These are outstanding. A campaign that has received scant to nil coverage in the figure modelling world, and thus very interesting and refreshing.

Thanks Phil,
I like very much Royal Italian colonial troops, so interesting and colourful but, sadly, so neglected not only in modeling but in History too. ;)

Some more details added to the figure of Liutnant Saverio Verny: buttons, patches, the sambrowne with the holster of the Beretta mod. 34 and other tiny things ...

I need a hint for the very tiny stars on the collar ... How would you do them?
In scale 1/24 they're about half millimeter. I thought to make a simple little button with the punch & die but it's not nice to see ... and it'll be my last choise if I can't make better.

Useful SBS - coincidentally I need to make a peaked cap for a conversion I'm doing, so this has hit the spot!(y) Lovely detail.
