Just finished this one from Troop54, a soldier of the 6th Foot, Warwickshire regiment, Cape wars 1852.
It was quite difficult to paint being a one piece casting, except for the musket, blanket pack and hat which are separate. It will paint up as a nice figure (if someone else painted it),
I did cuss a bit but am happy with the result.
I have added a rifle sling and the keepers on the stock to hold the ramrod. also a bayonet scabbard.

mortier, yes love these troop 54 have a few more to do and hopefully a few more in the months to come.

Mobo and BP thank you also appreciate the comments

Viking Bob, Nicely done! Like the uniform and appearance a lot! Reminds me a bit of the uniforms wore during the American Civil War in the field. I am not as well versed on British history, but wow this is a very appealing kit! Thanks for sharing! (y) Think you pulled it off well and should be pleased with your efforts.

Nice work Bob. Received this one for my B"day; first one I've seen painted.

Thank you all very much, Terry I know what you mean, the Victorian period is very interesting though to a Brit (I used to re-enact ACW in the UK).

Very nice Bob. Love the little additions. I take my hat off to you as I’ve tried a couple of these and the kits are great but my eyes still haven’t recovered!
