That’s a very nice piece Simon and well presentedMy very first Troop 54 figure in my favourite scale, just as Stu is dropping the 54mm figures, oh well such is life.
This was a very enjoyable project, the figure is a joy to paint and the detail is exceptional, this always makes painting a lot easier. I used mostly Scale 75 colours, with the odd Vallejo or Reaper colours, the webbing was finished with an oil glaze to correct my over black rendition. He is mounted on a black painted Sovereign 2000 resin column base.

That's a very nice job. I like the colours and contrasts - although I believe you had some reservations? It works very well as a finished piece.
And a tad out of the ordinary, too, which is never a bad thing.
