So i finally dared to post my first post here thanks to kevin..... Carl Reid's trumpet-Major of the 6th Cuirassiers 1813, produced by Mitches Military Models
Painted with W & N oils over Vallejo acrylics

Saw this on FB from the brand PeeDee, looks very similar except for the helmet and paint job. Rather confusing :

Never heard of the brand before (the only PeeDee i know is Paul Dobson), but it does look very similar.... Unless it's a "bust" bash, body from one, head from another? (n) Either way he does look good as well. Akaryu , i just noticed you are from Belgium as well, where are you based? I'm from De Haan ;-)
 
The similarity struck me when seeing that bust on FB, apparently showing a Second Empire Carabineer trumpeter. The person who posted it mentioned Peedee Models as the source. Never heard of that brand before, so I wondered. That said yours is a splendid piece of work. Indeed I am Belgian, living in Limburg not that far from the 1914 Halen battlefield nor from the Schaffen main DZ.
