Hello guys

I was trying to get a good picture of my very first painted figure. I have painted this figure for almost 20 times over and over. cleaned it and done it again. Now the time was come to finished it.
I like to have critic so I can improve. Please feel free to give feedback. I will try to get the picture more close up so I can put it on planet-figure with Irfan-view.
Only I have read the article on planet-figure but with me is it not working well. Maybe I am not so handy with computers.
So thats it, I am very curious what your opinion is.

Greetings Dick

Hello Evan

Thanks for your reply. The figure is a driver of a horse from the French Artillery Train form Andrea. This kit have 6 horses, 3 riders and a canon.
The plan is to make a waterloo diorama with this kit. The artillery horse team is in a hurry to withdraw and have back up from french soldiers.
Also are there casulties en a dead horse placed to give it more dramatic effect.
So its a big plan and a lot of work in future so this is a project for a year or more.
But I will try to show the progress time by time.

All the best
Dick

Hello Evan

How do I get an vBench on planet. I am very new on planet figure. And also in the figure world so I have many to learn.
Thats why everything (placing a good picture) go wrong.
Still have probleems with getting te JPG-photo's smaller for file attachments.

See you later

Dick - Welcome! Very nice figure! You're not alone in struggling with the pics! I refer you to Quang, who is very knowledgeable about digital cameras and photo software. I just sort of stumble along in his footsteps!

Basically you probably need a photo software program to adjust picture size and resolution and color. If you don't have a tripod for your digital camera, that may come in handy also. If you don't use a tripod, holding the camera steady enough to get a well-focused clear image is problematic. Good luck and look forward to seeing more stuff from you!

All the best,
Dan

First figure? Who cares how many times it was re painted? It looks good. Sometimes I wish I had pics of my first figures. Now that would get one heck of a laugh! Don't worry too much about your English. Your pics speak 1000 words and besides, theyr'e in the universal language, "FIGURES"!

Welcome to the planet and we look forward to seeing this completed by you (y)
