I have just about finished these 2 figures. The US Cavalry studio photo is about 100mm and the Irish figure bust about 200mm. They both need a bit of "snagging".

Nicely rendered figures. The US soldier looks to be posing for a photograph at a studio. Captured it well.

Hi Alex

Great to see what you’ve been working on , both really nice pieces

As said the US has a studio feel about him , very natural , proudly showing off his weapons

Now do tell us more about the Irish 200mm piece ...is it a 3D file or conversion ?

I do like the bust , very moving piece

Why not have a look at supporting the comps ...link below

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Thanks for the positive comments. Nap - all my own work, old school - Milliputt and whatever came in handy. The pistol was made of aluminum sheet, 2 thicknesses of wire (one might have been a needle), the revolver bit was part of a cocktail stick, and of couse Milliputt.

Hi Alex

You’ve done fine modelling on both , was the bust based on a picture ?

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun @ the bench
