Thank you Roger.

Here at this stage, I used Burnt Umber filter on sub hull for having some metal shiny and weathered looking..

Some color references for your project...

Finding clear, color photos of U boats showing crews via internet search is more difficult than I thought it would be. I found a YouTube clip that might be helpful.

Good luck!

All the best,
Dan

Hello Dan,

Yes it was hard to decide about colors. I take Osprey's U Boat Crew Book as color reference and applied base colors. I also found some color photos of U Boat Battledress which I tried to imitate on last two figure from the left.

First two from the left are wearing U boat leathers, in light gray, some can be seen on deck gun crews in your video too.

I did not start to lights on the first figure yet. It will be close to second's trousers later.

I did not prefer to use heavy rain coats and their colors due ambient.

About boat's color, U 58 was type II C boat. On this type, earlier boats are in lighter gray, but laters are darker as I can found in references.

Anyway Painting stage still goes on. I can change colors anytime if necesseary.

Thanks for your support and time on this (y)

Cheers,
