The sweater looks better, but I would be inclined to add a wider collar and what my wife calls "knitting and purling" on the bottom and on the sleeve cuffs. See the vertical strip-ey looking things on the cuffs and bottom of the sweater? I hope I'm making myself clear. Duh.

Incidentally, the photo of the sweater I've attached is not a military one. In USAF, we had a similar sweater (blue-of course). I've noticed RAF wearing something similar also (also blue).

As far as the eyes, the guy on the right looks a lot better. The one on the left - not as 'realistic'. I agree with you - eyes and hands are very difficult to get right. You are on the right track!

All the best,
Dan

Thanks for the info and comments again Dan.

About collars, I found attached dwg. from Osprey Publ. Probably those additions in collars can be removable and attachable in case of limited using such as ceremonial situations, anchoring etc.. I mean those flying part in behind neck and black tie like thing.. I like want to belive its enough what I have done with the collars. But if you meant " throath part " of the inner wear, you may right about that, idk..o_O

Kaiserliche Marine collars are unique and I understand you, but actually I was just talking about the guy wearing a sweater. I'm attaching some examples of uniforms which might relate to your piece. The last photo, U54 in heavy weather, may be from WW2, but the rubber heavy weather gear probably hadn't changed much.

I hope this is helpful.

All the best,
Dan

Hello Dan .

Can you please tell me which figure wearing sweater? My fault I could not understood which one you mentioned about sorry ..

Thanks,

Serhan-

Thanks for clear description. As I understood from photo collars as just like in image you have mentioned ( unterseebootsflottille-portrait-jpg) and inside seen like naked.

In my opinion, he may wear sweater like thing but not wearing high collars like in photo 68528_rrn-jpg. may be dissagree with you in this point :)

May be he wear totally something different, an irregular thing, but collar design seems like an regular thing from the navy, may be upper wear like in( unterseebootsflottille-portrait-jpg), just taken out flyer part in neck and tie, which can be removable, for

make working easy on board, idk.

I hope this time I get you correct :D

About inner wearings; I only need to do something regular shirt collars and tie detaling on the figure 3rd. from left.

Hello..

I revised officer's arm, added buttons on shirts, tie and fine details on conning tower of the boat. Also added figures on conning tower and carved deck details..

I will not make Eagle insignia on caps, what do you think ? Have to make ?

Thanks for looking.

Thank you Roger,

Myself exactly the same, so applied primer on first copy with Tamiya Spray.

I also found some kind of glass frame for presenting it.

Colors waiting...
